Mara Berent Friedman Artist. Mara is an incredible international known artist who has painted the divine feminine for decades and is also Kathy’s art teacher and friend. She inspired me to paint my own CD cover for ‘On the wings of a Butterfly’.

Rama. Dr Frederick Lenz known as Rama lived his life in Nirvana and was my teacher for eight years. He taught me how to meditate and live life to the fullest and with a resolute spirit. His teachings can be categorized as American Buddhism for the 21st century. I have written many songs based on his teachings.. too many to list here! My songs reflect his wisdom about many things.

The Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers and the Grandmothers Wisdom Project. The 13 grandmas are/were 13 elders/shamans/teachers/healers/activists from around the world who came together to spread peace, love and the indigenous wisdom. They inspired the songs 13 Grandmothers, Grandmother Rita, The Elements and It takes love.
